World over, the Allelopathy Journal is the only journal in this new field of science, edited by an International Editorial Board. It has successfully completed 31 years of publication (66 volumes) till November 2025. It is published in both Print and Online Editions. The Journal is indexed in SCOPUS, BIOSIS and UGC Care List, Research Alert, Ulrich's Directory of International Periodicals and abstracted in CABI Abstracting Journals (Agroforestry Abstracts, Forestry Abstracts, Herbage Abstracts, Horticultural Abstracts, Nematology Abstracts, Weed Abstracts) and Indian Science Abstracts.
The Journal invites (A) Research Papers and Review Papers on all aspects of allelopathy and related areas including Health Sciences . Please prepare manuscripts in line with the Manuscript Preparation & Submission guidance.
The Journal has started a Review Series (based on updated review of World Literature) on Allelopathic Plants spp. (Crops, Weeds, Trees, Shrubs, Bushes, Medicinal Plants). Till now Reviews on 35-Plants spp. have been published. You are cordially invited to prepare the Review on the plant spp. you are investigating.
The Ms. may be divided into following Sections: Title, Contents, Abstract, Key words, Introduction (Origin, Distribution, Habitat, Climatic Requirements, Economic Uses), Morphology, Allelopathic Research (Bioassays, Pot culture, Field Studies), Allelochemicals (Nature of allelochemicals identified, Mechanisms of action, Role in Pests Management), Future Areas of Research, References. From 2016, for faster publication of Mss, the Allelopathy Journal is published Bi-Monthly (January, March, May, July, September, November) in 3-Volumes per year. The Allelopathy Journal is self-sustaining and do not receive Funds from other agencies. Therefore, authors have to pay the Article Processing/Publication Charges (APC) to publish their research paper in Allelopathy Journal. These charges depends on the Human Development Index (HDI) of the Author's country. Authors from developed countries pay full Publication Charges. Discount is given to Author's according to their country HDI. Authors from India pay in Indian Currency. These Charges are based on Actual Number of Published Pages in Allelopathy Journal and are modest as compared to same Impact Factor Journals of Springer, Elsevier and PLoS One. PRE-PAYMENT OF THESE CHARGES IS MANDATORY, THEREAFTER MS. IS PUBLISHED.
Many new Authors, submit manuscripts (Ms) to Allelopathy Journal written in their own style, which (i) causes inconvenience in its Processing, (ii) delays its publication and (iii) results in wastage of valuable time of Peer Reviewers and Editors.
