Faster Publication

Since 2016, the Allelopathy Journal is published bi-monthly (January, March, May, July, September, November) in 3 volumes per year, ensuring publication within 60-90 days after submission. Authors must prepare manuscripts according to the guidelines on www.allelopathyjournal.com.

Publication Charges

The Allelopathy Journal is self-sustaining and does not receive external funding. Authors are required to pay Article Processing Charges based on the Human Development Index (HDI) of their country:

  • Authors from developed countries pay full charges.
  • Discounts are offered based on country HDI.
  • Indian authors pay in Indian currency.
  • Charges are based on the actual number of published pages and are competitive compared to journals from Springer, Elsevier, and PLoS One.
  • Free Publication: Exceptional research papers from authors unable to pay may be published free of charge.

Pre-payment of charges is mandatory before publication.

Model Manuscripts

To ensure uniformity and streamline processing, authors must follow the Model Manuscript outlines for:

  • Research Paper
  • Short Communication
  • Review Paper

Guidelines include:

  • Follow the Model Manuscript format on www.allelopathyjournal.com.
  • Type in 12-point font in MS Word.
  • Keep figure size to 17.5 x 12.5 cm.
  • Submit as a single file (Text + Tables + Figures) via email to chiefeditor@allelopathyjournal.com, allelopathy2021@gmail.com, or narwals2021@gmail.com.

Manuscripts undergo 15 processing stages, including 5 reviews:

  • Preliminary Screening
  • English Improvement
  • Associate Editor Review
  • Peer Review
  • Chief Editor Review

Submission of Articles

Submit electronic manuscripts (MS Word 2016 for text, MS Excel for figures) to Prof. S.S. Narwal, Chief Editor, at chiefeditor@allelopathyjournal.com, allelopathy2021@gmail.com, or narwals2021@gmail.com. Suitable manuscripts will be assigned an ID number and sent to an Associate Editor for processing.

Editorial offices are located in the USA, Australia, Russia, Mexico, Spain, Poland, China, and India. Instructions to Authors are available in all journal issues and on www.allelopathyjournal.com .

Free Access to Archives

The Allelopathy Journal offers two types of online access:

  • Paid Access: Full access to archives (all volumes) and the current year's journal.
  • Free Online Access: Partial open access to all old volumes (except the current year) for bona fide researchers who sign in at www.allelopathyjournal.com.
